Due to being staffed for 12 hours each day, our Hab Homes provide a balance between fully independent living and a dedicated level of care as needed. Staff assists with skill building in areas such as budgeting, shopping, personal care, home maintenance, transportiation, coordinating medical services, medication compliance, symptom monitoring, as well as academic and vocational opportinuties. These are all done with the goal of those we serve finding their own suitable housing, acquiring necessary furniture and belongings, applying for entitlements, and anything else needed to work toward full independence. |
